The Warrior Bride

“Who is she who looks forth as the morning, Fair as the moon, Clear as the sun, Awesome as an army with banners?”

The Warrior Bride Arising

In these last days, as the end-time battles intensify, the Lord is calling His body worldwide to rise up and take our place as His “warrior bride” – warring in the Spirit, while resting in our Beloved. To be truly effective as worshipping warriors, and to be able to “run the race with endurance” (Heb. 12:1-2) we must continually rest and “re-arm” ourselves in the secret place of bridal intimacy with Yeshua. It is in this place, as we gaze upon the beauty of the Lord (Ps. 27:4), that we hear the joyful sound of His victory (Ps. 89:15), that we see with clear vision our eternal destination, and we emerge with new strength for the battle (Is. 40:31).

From our position of authority in Yeshua, seated with Him in heavenly places, our worship then becomes warfare, as we launch the Word of God in songs and intercession into the spiritual darkness around us, corporately proclaiming to the principalities and powers (Eph. 3:10) His unchanging purposes and destiny for Israel and the nations.

As we approach the soon return of the Lord, the Bride is making herself ready for the wedding supper of the Lamb. We have been given a “foretaste” of the new wine of joy in His Kingdom, as we are filled and “sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise” (Eph. 1:13), the guarantee of our glorious inheritance. Here in Israel, we often celebrate with a traditional Jewish wedding song “Hava Nagila” which echoes the words of Revelation 19:7: “Come let us rejoice and be glad!!” Truly the joy of the Lord is our strength in the midst of the difficult and seemingly insurmountable battles that surround us. Lord, let us hear the shout of victory — for “the shout of a King is among us!!” (Numbers 23:21).
